Brute Facts- Week of 9/24

Hello Wives of Westminster!  As you may (or may not) know, the seminary publishes a pamphlet each week titled, “The Brute Facts.”  The purpose of this pamphlet is to promote community life through effective communication and it is filled with helpful information about the weeks upcoming events at WTS.  Some of the information found in the Brute Facts each week might be helpful for wives of seminary students to know and while this pamphlet doesn’t always make its way home with your husband, we will try to post the information that might be helpful to wives here on this blog.

So, here’s the lowdown for this week….

Book Sale going on at the library going on now!

Do you like finding out more about what different Westminster students, alumni and staff are doing as they seek to advance the Kingdom of God?  Do you like to write?  The Communications Office at Westminster is seeking an assistant to research and write, in a compelling style, special interest stories featuring WTS students and alumni for development, promotional, and other seminary-related purposes.  Also involved in the position is assistance with President’s Office-hosted events.  Interested?  See the job description and application form, as well as steps to apply here.

The Global Mission Fellowship exists to LEARN about “the nations” & PRAY for them (and for one another) to be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God.  All are welcome to join us every Monday from 1:05-1:45 p.m. in the Loft (2nd floor of the Carriage House- bring your own lunch).  Monday, 9/24 will focus on England and western America.  Monday, 10/1 will focus on Greece and Malaysia.  Our fellow students from these countries will be sharing!
